Before you start installing Python Image Library (PIL 1.1.7), please be ensured that you have download PIL-1.1.7-win32.py2.5.exe and you have installed python 2.5.4 sucessfully. If you don't know where to download PIL-1.1.7-win32.py2.5.exe, go to Step 1. If you don't know how to install Python 2.5.4 go to Step 2.
- Run the PIL-1.1.7-win32-py2.5.exe.
- You will see the welcome screen. Press "Next >"
- Then you will ask to select the python 2.5 package. Since you have installed python 2.5.4 previously, just press "Next >"
- Now the installer program is ready for copying and compiling files. Press "Next >"
- You will notice the installer is now copying and compiling files.
- After the compilation, you will see the finish screen
Now, you have installed the Python Image Library (PIL 1.1.7) successfully.
